Feisty Deeds II: Historical Tales of Batches and Brews is coming December 12th!!

Feisty Deeds: Historical Tales of Batches and Brews is a collection of twenty-five short stories that highlight everyday women in history, from ancient Ireland to 1969 Raleigh to the Appalachian hills. This new version of Feisty Deeds contains more stories of strong, vulnerable women making decisions that changed their lives. Broken down into chapters, you can read one story or more in a single sitting. Once again, all profits go to the Women’s Fiction Writers Association’s (WFWA) Scholarship Fund to help aspiring women authors better their craft. It’s now available for Presales and will be up on NetGalley for a short time longer.

Feisty Deeds: Historical Fiction of Daring Women
This anthology of short stories published June 8, 2024, Women’s Fiction Day. I couldn’t be more proud of my short story, “Junebug,” which was chosen to be included. There are 22 other amazing historical fiction stories about daring women who made a difference.
“Junebug” was a young woman in 1943 who wanted desperately to become a WASP, Women Airforce Service Pilot. World War II was raging and she wanted to do more for her country. The thing she loved was flying.
