Thanksgiving comes around every year and I look forward to celebrating with my family and friends. Of course, this year was so different for everyone. The last few years have been years of great change for my husband and I. We retired and moved last year. We went on our first overseas trip to Ireland and Scotland last year. (I highly recommend a trip to both of these countries when life returns to normal.) And we left our daughter enjoying life, behind in the town that we’d lived in for the past sixteen years. To be Present in my life may seem like a no-brainer for a resolution, but I know from a lot of personal experience that we often let everything get in the way of our enjoyment of our life. So while I will probably struggle sometimes to let myself enjoy everything, I am going to try my best to really be present in the moment and live every minute of my life to the fullest in 2018. My life is pretty awesome, so why I let things that I cannot control ruin it for me, is beyond my comprehension anyway. Worry is my middle name. I can let it ruin parts…
